Hot raspberry sauce over vanilla ice cream is a superb combination. It´s pretty simple but sometimes the simplest things are the best ones. Moreover, June and early July are a season of raspberries.
The dessert´s origin is Germany and it´s called Heiße Liebe there (literally it means Hot Love). I‘ve seen the dessert in a few local cafés, however I didn ´t find many recipes on the Internet, so I thought I could share mine😊
INGREDIENTS (2-3 servings):
- 200 – 250g raspberries
- 2 – 4 tbsp water
- vanilla ice cream (brand recommendation in a video below)
Place washed and stemmed raspberries in a medium-sized pot. Add some water (2-3 tbsp) and cook for a few minutes until you reach a sauce consistency.
Put the sauce at the bottom of dessert cups, then add a scoop of ice cream. Repeat (sauce and ice cream again).
Decorate with whipped cream and fresh raspberries.
Down below is a video tutorial. In my opinion, watching a video recipe helps you to follow the recipe properly as you basically see the entire proces with your own eyes. Besides, you can see me, my Mum and Arktis!😉
